The Beef Quality Assurance Program provides systematic information to U.S. beef producers of how good husbandry techniques can be coupled with accepted scientific knowledge to raise cattle under optimum management conditions.

BQA training is hosted in partnership with NCBA and Missouri State University. 

'BQA Effect' Study 

A 2019 study conducted by Colorado State University (CSU) on the Beef Checkoff-funded BQA program showed a significant premium for calves and feeder cattle sold through video auction markets. Results of the study revealed a premium of $16.80/head for cattle that had BQA listed in the lot description.
